I had planned to wait for your reply to my previous letter but as I stated my health is declining and my life expectancy is short. This package includes all of the information I sent to the state medical board and attorney general as well as a brief summary of the situation. Any competent analysis would conclude that some very bad things went on there and people died as a result (see Attachment A)

As the hospital is now closed obtaining records may be difficult but the company in Texas that managed the hospital may have them. I have the identities of employees for the past four years and most are still employed at various health care facilities in the area. Pharmaceutical records could be obtained from suppliers - the use of psychotropic medications (for which there was no need in such a facility) was the main cause of my injuries and no doctor at ACCH was qualified to diagnose a need for them. I survived because my family removed me before I deteriorated to the point of death and it seems that many others were not so fortunate.

I have the names and ages of 155 patients (most likely not a complete list) who died there (in a facility where the statistical death rate should have been close to zero per year) during the seven years of operation.

I do not know to whom the medical board is accountable but its action (inaction actually) in this case was reprehensible.

The recommendation in Attachment A is that the Attorney General or a federal authority should investigate. His office does not have Attachment A as it was not prepared when I mailed the first letter - whether that would change anything I don't know. Perhaps someone in the governor's office will be able to communicate the need for his attention.

I have been working for four years to draw attention to this matter and the more time that passes the more the prospects of justice for the victims decline. More importantly the doctor who is responsible has not been held accountable and will continue to cause harm to unsuspecting patients.
